Multi-family House D was developed in parallel with the preparation of the simplified development plan, which also includes three additional multi-family houses designed by other architects. By positioning all four buildings along the edge of the buildable perimeter, a spacious courtyard was created, combining both private and semi-public areas.

The provisions of the simplified development plan allowed for the maximisation of floor area in MFH D, resulting in the construction of eight residential units and a ground-floor practice. All nine units were individually fitted out according to the wishes of the respective owners.

To ensure that residents benefit from both the evening sun and views into the courtyard from their private outdoor spaces, each apartment has two exterior areas. Apartments on the first to third floors feature a balcony facing the courtyard and a loggia with enhanced privacy toward the west-facing Lidostrasse. The ground-floor and penthouse apartments are equipped with terraces.
